About The MacCormack Family
Josh & Ashleigh met in 2007, while Josh was singing and traveling with a men’s quartet. After completing Bible college, they were married in 2009, and now have three daughters, Carlie (10), Chloe (8), and Chrissie (5).
Josh has had a love for gospel music for as long as he can remember, and sang with his family and other groups while growing up. In Bible college, he had the opportunity to travel throughout the US with a men’s quartet for two years, as well as sing and play in other gospel groups. He has served as music minister and choir director for his home church since 2009.
Ashleigh began music lessons at age 5, and was greatly encouraged by her parents and mentors to pursue her God-given gift. By age 18, Ashleigh was pursuing a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, but felt the Lord calling her into church ministry, and chose to enroll in Bible college instead. She has served alongside Josh in music ministry as accompanist and special music coordinator, and gives private music lessons and professional performances at events.
After spending over 10 years teaching other adults and young people how to honor the Lord through music, Josh and Ashleigh began teaching their own girls to do the same. God has blessed each of the girls with an unusual love and gift for music, and the family looks forward with anticipation to what God has in store for them!
For the last several years, Josh and Ashleigh have felt the Lord leading them to share the gift of gospel music as a family outside of their home church. With the blessing and approval of their pastor, the MacCormack family is excited to step out by faith with this ministry and are thrilled and humbled with the doors God has opened already.
